OUR VALUES

The Gospel—we believe that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus is the greatest power for change both in our hearts and in our world.

The Prayer—we are a people that believe in order to do a great work FOR God we must first BE with Him - prayer is the key. 

Community—we are a people that are devoted to each other. Life is a group project and we do it together. We share our joys and tears. Our victories and our losses. Wherever life takes us, we're going together.

Justice—we are people committed to bringing both relief and reform to the city of Yonkers and beyond. Mercy is bandaging up people bloodied in life, justice is systematically stopping those who are bloodying up people. Acts Church is committed to both mercy and justice.

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality—it is impossible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature - we are committed to closing the gap.
